The unknown can be delicious?

Today feels like this...

Something's came up and the boy and I may have to cancel our San Fran trip that we've been planning for over a month and been soooo looking forward to.

Gotta face it, and just move on. I'm disappointed but it's only human and normal to be when plans don't go as planned. But, so what? San Fran will always be there for us to go anytime.

P.S. Can you believe these shots? Raindrops on the ocean...beautifully captured.

Start your day with power

Waking up at 630am is tough. Even after months of doing this, come Wednesday morning, I still have to drag my sleepy self outta bed and to Power Yoga class. But 15 mins into class and I know why doing this is everything to my body and mind. Happy mid-week!!!

Jill Sander

Everything about this dress is divine...the purple, the material, the draping and the little bit of structure and body-hugging. I'm a new fan of Jill Sander!

MeeeeeeeOW!!!!

Someone teach me how to do this pleeeeeease?

Eye Alert

This is what the boy and I bought last night. 2 prints by OBEY Shepard Fairey. They are 2 separate prints that you can choose to frame individually or together. We are definitely framing them together!

Pretty things chase the blues away....

I'm recovering from a nasty flu and cough kept me awake from 6am although I do not need to awake until 8am. I had back-to-back meetings. I now have to work late and eat food from outside (not that it matters since I can't taste anything). I haven't worked out or gone for yoga since Thursday morning. AND - I haven't seen my boy properly in 2 weeks.

Sick...AGAIN

There's gotta be something in the office. Since I started work, I fell sick in the first week with a cough and cold. In another 2-3 weeks, I had a sore throat, and then and eye infection with a dry throat and today, I have a stuffy nose. Seriously. The office needs to be disinfected. It's way too dirty and dusty.

I blame the office because I am so diligent with my fish oil pills, multi-vit pills and vitamin C drinks everyday, I eat a shitload of fruits (I really do) and I have been exercising so regularly, what else can it be apart from the office?!?!?

I am going to do some online shopping to relieve my stuffy nose agony. *glee*

Japanese living

The boy and I are planning a trip to Japan for his birthday next year in January and I am soooo looking forward to the food...ramen anyone? And I hear their fresh cream strawberry cake is to die for, when I heard that, I'm sold. I will travel for a cake. Of cos there's gonna be shopping, with the boy, there's gonna be plenty of shopping in Japan.

What about Japanese interior design style? LOVE. Simplicity. Natural. Clean. Organic.

Up to my neck

A crazy week in the office, sleepless nights due to a dry throat, battling an eye irritation (or maybe infection?) for days, and struggling to keep a work/yoga/healthy living balance...this week has left me feeling like this.

Thank effing god it's the weekend.

I'm no chef but...

I want a customized kitchen island/work table! This is chef Liam Tomlin, founder of Chef's Warehouse & Cookery School, work table - based on the the concept of "everything in its place". It houses cutting boards, removable cheese boards, glass holders, wine rack, knife holders, hot pot stand, storage drawers and shelves for kitchen equipment. Such a neat beauty.

Nerdy eyes

It's time for a new pair of frames. It's not that I'm sick of my current red frames, it's just really dirty and scratched up (thanks to me who leaves it around everywhere without its case). And my degree has definitely increase, I'm getting headaches at times when I'm watching TV or on the computer with these glasses. So it's time to hunt for a new pair of glasses.

I love this pair of Ray Ban glasses. LOVE. ALWAYS. I tried these on a year ago and again a couple of months ago. I love them. But problem - they are huge and they make me look like a nerdy cartoon character. Not that it matters to me cos I would love to carry of a nerdy look!

But this weekend, something else more suitable caught my eye. This pair of Oliver Peoples Luv glasses. And they fit my small face perfectly. Problem, they are USD 285!!!

And why nerdy is good? Look at these nerdy chic ladies!!!! I wish I can carry off this look...

I'm dreaming of a weekend getaway @......

This is some place called The Poet's Loft that's up for rental if you have some moolahs to throw around. It's a long weekend with Monday being a holiday and I am dreaming of a nice long weekend at The Poet's Loft but sadly the reality of my weekend is probably 2 days of chillax with the boy and a day in the office. Still - these pictures make me feel kinda nice and calm, good start for the weekend!

The crow pose

So I finally got down and signed on with a trainer. The last time round it didn't happen because the trainer went MIA and I chickened out as well. All has been going well and I just cannot wait till I gain enough strength to do the crow pose. I'm sick of staying here for only 3 seconds and back on my feet/bum, I need to get into this pose and stay there for 20-30 seconds.

I am not so much concern with a nicer body (ok fine, I lie a lil, looking 5% like Jen Garner won't hurt!) with this personal training thing, I really just wanna get into yoga balance poses that I just don't seem to have the strength to now.

Oh and look, cartoon yoga! Cute!!!
