First taste of pumpkin...I stared at the orangey puree from the farmers' organic pumpkin can, I thought since I've never had pumpkin, might as well take a lick.
It's kinda weird. This sounds totally oxy-moronic but it had a very veggie taste??!! I may have recently cultivated the habit and liking for certain salads, I don't think I can bring myself to eat fresh pumpkin.
And I gotta be honest...baking them into muffins was still kinda foreign to me. I wasn't sure if it was meant to taste this way. But the office crowd said they were perfect!
