Prior to moving to the States, the war in Afghan sounded so far and almost unreal. Recently I kinda got to know someone who volunteered for the war. Reading his emails about the situation and how he feels and why he's there made me tear up a little at times even though I didn't really know him that well.
People are missing people from Afghan. And people are missing soldiers at Afghan.
This war is real.
